SPECIALIZING IN CHILDREN WITH COMMUNICATION CHALLENGES VIA SPEECH THERAPY.
We're proud to partner with the Lanterman Regional Center to provide vital early intervention speech therapy services to eligible families at no cost to you.
The Lanterman Regional Center plays a crucial role in connecting families with developmental delays or disabilities with the support they need. Through this partnership, children from birth to three years old who qualify for Lanterman's Early Start program can receive comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services with our experienced team.
Here's how it works:
* Referral: Families can be referred to the Lanterman Regional Center by their pediatrician, other healthcare professionals, or they can self-refer.
* Eligibility Assessment: Lanterman Regional Center will conduct an assessment to determine if your child meets the eligibility criteria for their Early Start program.
* Service Coordination: Once eligible, Lanterman will assign a service coordinator who will work with you to develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). This plan will outline your child's specific needs and the services they will receive, including speech therapy.
* Our Collaborative Care: As a contracted provider with Lanterman, our speech therapists work closely with your service coordinator and your family to implement the speech therapy goals outlined in the IFSP. We provide individualized therapy sessions in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Our goal is to help young children develop their communication skills as early as possible, laying a strong foundation for future success. If you have concerns about your child's speech and language development and are connected with or believe you may be eligible for Lanterman Regional Center services, please don't hesitate to reach out to us or contact Lanterman directly. We're here to help!
Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center is one of 21 regional centers that have a contract with the state of California, Department of Developmental Services, to coordinate services for people with developmental disabilities, and for infants and toddlers under the age of 3 if they have a developmental delay or a developmental disability.
